Kitchenette Kids

KIDS' BIRTHDAY PARTIES

Have your child's next birthday at Kitchenette. Your children will be seated family style in their own corner of the restaurant for a fun-filled 1 1/2 hours of activities which will include either of the following:

Party 1

  • CUPCAKE DECORATING
    Each child will choose between a chocolate or vanilla cupcake. Different flavors and colors of icings as well as sprinkles will be available so each child can make their own special cupcake to eat during the party.
  • COOKIE DECORATING
    The birthday child will pick, in advance, cookie shapes (from animals to people to actual shapes) that will be decorated at the party. Lots of colored icings, sprinkles and candies will be provided to ensure a special creation for each child. Each cookie will be boxed for a take home treat.
  • SNACK
    A snack of chicken fingers and french fries with apple cider and pink lemonade will be served.
  • BIRTHDAY CAKE
    A 4-inch birthday cake will be presented for a round of "Happy Birthday" and Candle Blowing.

Party 2

This party includes everything in the first party EXCEPT instead of Cupcake Decorating, treat your child to a Make Your Own Ice Cream Sundae Finale!

 

  • MAKE YOUR OWN ICE CREAM SUNDAE
    After the cookies are packed up and the snacke is eaten there is one last thing for the kids to do. Each child is given a dish of ice cream to load up with sundae toppings from chocolate sauce to sprinkles, candies and cherries.

These parties are available Monday-Friday after school
3 PM -6 PM, Saturday after 4:30 PM or Sunday after 5 PM
Cupcake Party $375.00/10 children

Please understand that space is limited and these parties are intended as a drop off party for children ages 5 and up.
Maximum number of children is 16. We can only accommodate up to 20 people including adults and children.

All party packages include 1 service person. More help may be required,depending upon age and number of children. Additional service people are available at a fee of $75.

COOKING WITH KIDS

How to make our delicious HOSTESS STYLE CUPCAKES:

1. Follow the recipe in our cookbook for Chocolate Cake make cupcakes instead. If you prefer, use store bought chocolate cupcakes that are uniced.
2. Once home made cupcakes are completey cool, take a small knife or teaspoon and carefully cut out the top and center of cupcake, making sure to leave enough cake at the bottom so that the cupcake still holds together.
3. Fill center with either homemade whipped cream or store bought whipped cream.
4. Make chocolate ganache by metling 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 3 tablespoons heavy cream in microwave oven. Stir until smooth and shiny.
5. Spoon over top of cupcake to cover whip cream entirely.
6. Place in refrigerator for 20 minutes or until ganache has hardened.
7. Eat and enjoy!
